Yes — every job is done where the vehicle is. We cover Charlotte and the surrounding counties in both Carolinas. Travel is included within 25 miles; beyond that it is charged per mile, and we do not travel past 100 miles.
Yes. BTB On Call runs day or night, weekends included. Booked appointments (BTB On Demand) run 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
A dispatch fee, which depends on the hour of the call. Booking a window ahead rather than calling for immediate service reduces the cost by 50%. The exact figure is shown before you pay, and it covers getting a technician to you and diagnosing the problem — all parts and labor are quoted on site for your approval before any work begins.
Often, and we offer two repairs. A plug seals the puncture from the outside and the tire never leaves the wheel: fast, and a get-you-home fix rather than a permanent one. A patch means the tire comes off the wheel, is inspected from the inside, repaired, remounted and rebalanced — the permanent repair, and the one we stand behind. Damage to the shoulder or sidewall, or a tire that has been driven flat, cannot be repaired safely.
No. We bring the tire for your job and nothing else, which is why the size has to be right before a technician is dispatched. We ask for a photo of the sidewall so we read the size ourselves rather than relying on memory. Used tires are fitted from our own stock where we have your size; new tires are ordered for each job, so call us to order one.
Cars, SUVs, pickups and vans. Our equipment is built for passenger and light-truck tires, so we are not set up for commercial trucks. If you are not sure whether your wheel fits, call and we will tell you before anyone is dispatched.
The dispatch fee pays for a technician to travel to you and diagnose the problem, and both are done by the time we know. It is not refunded because a repair turns out to need a shop. If we cannot come out at all, it is refunded in full and nothing further is charged.
